Kannika Parameswari Agro Chemical Ltd.

We are located at No. 3 B/2 on C3 Road in Balarengapuram. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but this is where the daily work happens for Kannika Parameswari Agro Chemical Ltd. We spend our time dealing with products for the farmers in the surrounding districts. The yard is usually full of barrels and heavy bags that need moving. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and we all wear sturdy boots because the ground can get messy after a bit of rain. C3 Road isn’t very wide, so when the big lorries come in to pick up supplies, everything else has to stop for a minute. We know the rhythm of the place. The sun beats down pretty hard on the corrugated roof in the afternoons, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. Our office is just a small room with a couple of old fans that don’t quite do the trick during the summer heat. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to people about their crops and what they need. It’s practical, down-to-earth stuff. There are no corporate retreats or fancy mission statements on the wall here. We just have a calendar and a lot of logbooks. Balarengapuram is a working-class area, and we fit that mold. We’ve known some of our customers for years. They stop by, have a glass of water, and tell us how the season is going. We just try to provide what they need from our spot on C3 Road.
