Travel Bureau

You can find the Travel Bureau at B 1 in Grand Plaza, right near Dakbanglow Chowk on Frazer Road. It’s a very busy corner of town. We’ve been operating out of this basement level, or B 1 spot, for years. Since we are so close to the chowk, the traffic noise is constant. We’ve got maps on the walls and a lot of old brochures that we probably should throw out. It’s a small team here. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at screens. The lighting isn't great because we're down a level, but we’ve got plenty of lamps. It’s a cozy place once you get used to it. People stop by because they see our sign while walking to the plaza. We don't have any fancy furniture, just some old chairs that have been here since we opened. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all have to wait around, which gives us time to chat. We know the area like the back of our hand. Frazer Road has everything you need within walking distance. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized. It’s a humble setup but it serves us well. We’re just regular people trying to run a business in a busy part of the city. We have a small fridge for our water and our lunches in the back.
