We are up here on the third floor of Chandi Vayapar Bhawan. If you know Exhibition Road, you know it gets quite crowded around here during the day. We've been operating out of this space for a while now. Most people find us because they need their eyes checked or they broke their frames and need something quick. It’s not a huge office, but we have enough room for the equipment and the display cases. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so some customers just take the stairs to the third floor. We spend most of our mornings just cleaning the glass and making sure everything is in the right place. It’s mostly just us here every day, dealing with whoever walks through the door. We don't really do big advertisements or anything like that. People just hear about us from their neighbors or they see the sign when they are walking down Exhibition Road. We try to keep things simple. If a pair of glasses needs a screw tightened or the nose pads are falling off, we just handle it right there. It can get a bit loud with the traffic outside, but once you’re inside the office, it’s mostly quiet. We just focus on the work at hand. There’s no fancy lobby or anything, just a few chairs for people to wait while we finish up their lenses. It’s just how we do things here. We don't have any big corporate goals, just keeping the shop running.
