Thakur Agro Solutions Private Limited is run by Vinod Thakur over in Tola Lalpur. This is in the Panchkauriya area of Runisaidpur block. It is a local operation where we try to help out with different farming needs. If a neighbor needs advice on what to plant or some help with their tools, they usually stop by Vinod’s place. We aren't a big company with a lot of money; we are just people from the village. The office is really just a part of the house where we keep the ledger books and some samples of what we are working with. Runisaidpur is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we don't need much advertising. We deal with the day-to-day problems that come up when you are trying to grow things in this soil. Sometimes the crops don't do what they are supposed to do, and we have to figure out why. It involves a lot of walking around the fields and looking at the plants. We don't have any grand plans to change the world. We just want to make sure the farmers in Tola Lalpur have what they need to get through the season. It is hard work and the days are long, especially when the sun is really beating down on the fields. We just take it one day at a time and do our best to stay on top of the work that needs doing.
