Swami Rangramanucharya Producer Company Limited is based out of Tajpur, which is a bit of a trek if you're coming from the main part of Gaya. Anjani Kumar’s house at Khata No. 21 is where we do most of our administrative stuff, if you can call it that. Mostly, it is just a room with a table where we keep our registers and talk to the farmers who come by. We are all about the crops in this part of Bihar. The soil here is good, but managing everything alone was getting too hard for most of the guys. We decided to put our names together under this company so we could buy things in bulk and maybe get a better price when we sell. It’s not always easy, and sometimes we spend more time arguing about the price of fertilizer than actually working. But that's how it goes when everyone has an opinion. The office is right there in Tajpur, and anyone from the village can walk in. We don't have any secretaries or big signs. Usually, you’ll just find Anjani or one of the other members sitting there drinking tea and looking over the accounts. We are just trying to keep the farming life going for another generation without losing too much money in the process. We hope it all works out for the best for us.
