We are located over at Satyveer Singh's place in Naglia Goraula village. It’s a quiet spot near Post Goraula, mostly just fields as far as you can see until you hit the next cluster of houses. Our name, Shivoham Anndata Farmer Producer Company Limited, is quite long, but we are really just a group of neighbors. We spent a lot of time sitting under the big tree near the well talking about how hard it was to get things sold at a decent price. Eventually, we decided to put our names together on some papers and start this up. The village is small and everyone knows everyone. If you come looking for us, just ask for Satyveer's house, and people will point you the right way. We don’t have fancy signs or anything. We mostly deal with the grain we grow and the everyday problems that come with farming in this part of the country. Sometimes the soil is good, sometimes it’s dry as a bone. We share the tools we have and try to help each other out when someone’s tractor breaks down or the labor is short during harvest. It’s not some big corporate thing. It’s just us trying to be smart about how we handle our crops so we don’t lose out to the middlemen every single time. We keep the books in a metal trunk to keep the damp out. It’s just real life here.
