Shatuhari Farmer Producer Company Limited is run out of Ward Number 11 in Sikraul. That is near the Dumraon area in Buxar. You can find us at Rabindra Singh’s place. We are a small team of local folks from the Buxar district. Our main thing is just helping the farmers around here get a better handle on their produce. The zip code here is 802126. We are not a corporate office. It is more of a community effort where we all chip in. Some of us handle the paperwork and others are out in the fields all day. It’s a bit messy sometimes because we are still learning how to run a proper company. We don't have fancy mission statements. We just show up and do the work. The weather in Bihar can be tough on the crops, so we try to stick together when things get hard. If someone’s crop is failing, we see if there is a way to help out. It is just how things are done in a place like Sikraul. We started this because we saw that individual farmers were getting a raw deal. By coming together under the name Shatuhari, we have a bit more strength. It is a slow climb, but we are making our way one season at a time. Nothing flashy, just real people working. We hope to keep the local farms going for a long time.
