Ritu Agro Seed Production Farmer is located in Kuchaikote, specifically in the area of Dhodhawaliya Bathna. Ashwani Kumar is the one who looks after things here. We are all about seeds and getting them ready for the planting season. The work is very seasonal, so there are times when we are incredibly busy and other times when it is a bit more relaxed. The village of Dhodhawaliya is a nice place, though it can get very isolated during the heavy rains. Ashwani has a simple office where we keep the seed samples and the records of which farmers are planting what. We don’t have any big marketing brochures. Our reputation is just based on what the neighbors say about the seeds they bought last year. We spend a lot of time looking at the quality of the grain and making sure everything is stored correctly so it doesn't spoil. The warehouse is just a sturdy building nearby that stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. We eat our lunch together and talk about the weather forecasts, which are always on our minds. It’s a plain and simple life here in Kuchaikote. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. We just provide seeds to the people who need them and try to make sure the next harvest is a decent one for everyone in the area.
