Our place is at Arazi No.93/1 in Goi Thahaom Nagar. It’s in the Face 2 area. Radhe Krishna Agri Production and Marketing is the name we chose. It’s a bit of a long name but it says what we do. We produce things and then we try to market them. Marketing sounds fancy but for us it just means finding people to buy our stuff for a fair price. Thahaom Nagar is where we do the heavy lifting. We have a small space where we bring the goods from the farms. It’s always a bit noisy with the trucks and the crates moving around on the pavement. We aren't some big corporate office. You’ll usually find us in our work clothes. We have to check the quality of everything that comes in. If it’s not good, we can't sell it to anyone. Simple as that. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to different buyers and traders. Sometimes the market is slow and we just sit and wait for the phone to ring. Other times it's so busy we forget to eat lunch or take a break. We like the energy of the market. It’s a bit of a gamble every day. You never know what the price will be when you wake up. We just try to keep things moving. It’s a practical business for us. We don't have any big speeches to give to anyone. We just want to get the products from the field to the city without too much trouble.
