Punpun Kisan Agro Producer Companylimited is based in Ganjtola, which is part of the Ganj Panchayat in Potthhipunpun. We are at House Number 215, which belongs to the son of the late Satya Narayan Singh. It’s an old house, but it works for what we need. We are a group of farmers from around the Punpun area. We grew up here and we know the land like the back of our hands. Setting up this company was just a way to make sure we could sell our crops together. It’s better than everyone going off in different directions. The village life is slow but there is always work to be done in the fields. We don't have any fancy marketing people or big machines to do everything for us. Most of it is still manual work and talking to people face to face. Sometimes we meet under the big tree outside when it’s too hot in the house. We discuss the prices of seeds and who has the best fertilizer this season. It isn't always pretty, and sometimes we argue about which way is best, but we are all neighbors so it works out in the end. We just want to make sure our families are taken care of and the land stays healthy for the next generation. It’s just simple, honest farming work done by people who live right here in the village day in and day out.
