Our business, Mv Nature Agriturn Private Limited, is located over by Mangal Talab in Patna City. Mritunjay Kumar, whose father is Sri Rajendra Pd, is the one who handles the daily running of things here. This part of Patna City is very old and often very crowded, but it has a lot of history and character that you don't find elsewhere. We work out of a small space near the edge of the pond. It gets incredibly busy during the festival seasons when the whole area is packed with people. We handle things related to nature and agriculture, which is why we picked the name we have. It’s a family-run kind of thing, really. Most of us grew up around these streets and decided to start this up a few years back to stay close to home. The office isn't very large at all, so we keep most of our files in messy stacks on the old wooden desks. We spend a lot of time talking to local farmers and small traders who come through the city to sell their goods. Sometimes it feels like we are more of a neighborhood meeting spot than a proper office. We don’t have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just want to make a decent living and do a job that we can be okay with at the end of the day. The tea stalls nearby are where we do most of our talking. It’s a loud, vibrant place to work and we wouldn't have it any other way.
