We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just Rajiv and a few others keeping track of the records and the members. Manigachhi is a busy area, but Tatuar is a bit more relaxed. We handle things like getting inputs for the farms and looking for ways to sell what we grow. It isn't always easy. Sometimes the market prices drop, or the weather doesn't help us out. But having the company helps us stay connected. We use simple English and local language to get our point across. If you are in the Benipur area, you might have heard of us. We are just trying to keep the farming community here strong. There is no corporate ladder here, just people who understand the land. We’ve been at this for a while now, just working from the village house and making sure the crops get to where they need to be after the harvest is done and the seasonal work finally slows down.
