Mangolitica Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Kairiya, within the Mahgawan area of Colgong block. You can usually find us through Bibhu Kumar, who helps manage things from his family home. We are just a bunch of local farmers who decided to pool our resources and work as one unit. The name might sound a bit different, but our work is as traditional as it gets. We deal with the crops that grow best in this part of the Colgong region. Farming here has its own set of challenges, from the soil quality to the way the seasons shift. We spend our time in the fields and then meet up to talk about how to sell our produce or what supplies we need to buy for the next planting. It is not a polished operation with a fancy office. We work where we live, and our business is built on the hard work we put into the ground every day. We try to keep things simple and practical. There’s no big talk here, just the daily routine of checking the plants and planning for the harvest. We hope that by working together, we can make the whole process a bit easier for everyone involved. It’s about people from Kairiya and the nearby spots helping each other out. We are just regular farmers doing our best to make a go of it every single day.
