Mahesh Prasad & Sons has been located in Khajekalan for quite some time now. We are specifically in the Kasera Toli area, which is one of those parts of town where the lanes can get a little tight if you’re driving a big vehicle. A lot of people use the Krishna Cinema as a landmark to find us since it's right nearby. It’s a lively place to have a business because there is always something going on in the street. You hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long. Our space is pretty traditional and definitely isn't a polished corporate office. It’s a family-run thing, and we just use the room we have to get our work done. There are boxes and ledgers and people coming in and out. Sometimes it feels a bit crowded, but we are used to it by now. The building is older, which gives it a bit of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We don’t worry much about the appearance as long as we can do our jobs. In the summers, it gets quite warm, so we might be seen standing near the door for a bit of a breeze. We’ve seen many neighbors come and go over the years, but we’ve stayed put here in Kasera Toli. It’s an honest, busy way to spend the day. We just take things as they come and keep the shop open for the neighborhood.
