Our office is in Ashiana Tower, specifically at No. 217 on the second floor. It’s right near Gandhi Maidan, so the area is always buzzing with people and traffic. Finding parking can be a bit of a nightmare during the afternoons, so I usually tell people to park a block away and just walk over. High Tech Electrocom Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this room for a while now. We deal with electronic parts and communication stuff. The office isn't very big, but it fits everything we need. There are stacks of boxes near the back and a couple of desks that have seen better days. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we manage. Being on the second floor is nice because we get a bit of a breeze if we open the window, though the noise from the street is always there. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s mostly just us handling orders and making sure the equipment is working right before it goes out. We don’t do much talking about innovation or anything like that. We just focus on the hardware. If something isn't working, we fix it or replace it. It’s a practical way to run a business. We know the other shop owners in the building, and it feels like a small community here. The elevator in Ashiana Tower is sometimes out of order, so we end up taking the stairs quite a bit.
