Maa Aasha Krishi Fed Producer Company Limited is out in Rasalpur village. If you go towards Daniyawan in Patna, you’ll find us. We are set up at Parmanand Gop’s place. It’s a local operation, nothing too complicated. We focus on agriculture because that’s what everyone here does. The village of Rasalpur is small, and most of us have known each other since we were kids. We started this because it felt like the right thing to do for the local farmers. Instead of going all the way to the city for every little thing, we try to handle it here. Our work involves looking after the needs of the farmers in the Karai Parsur area. We aren't interested in making flashy ads or anything like that. We just spend our time talking to people about their fields and what they are planting this year. Sometimes we meet under the trees or in the small office space we have. The road to the village can be a bit dusty in the summer and muddy when it rains, but that’s just how it is. Parmanand is usually around if anyone needs to talk about the federation’s work. We just want to make sure that the people growing the food get a fair deal. It’s a slow process, but we are here every day. It’s just regular folks working together in our part of Bihar, hoping for a good harvest every single time we plant something new.
