You can find us right near the bus stand here. It’s a busy spot with buses coming in and out all day, so it’s never really quiet. We operate out of Tulsi Kumar’s place. It’s a convenient location for the local farmers to drop things off. We mainly focus on milk and whatever agro products are in season. In the mornings, it’s a bit of a scramble getting everything moved before the heat sets in. We aren't a big corporation with uniforms or fancy logos. We are just a group of people from the area who know a lot about cows and farming. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to scramble to keep things cool, but that’s just how it is here. We do our own bookkeeping and handle the transport ourselves most of the time. It started because a few of us were tired of the low prices we were getting for our milk. Now we try to organize it so everyone gets a fair shake. It’s not always easy, and there are days when things go wrong, like a truck breaking down or a late delivery. We just deal with it as it comes. It’s a local operation through and through. If you’re passing by the bus stand, you’ll probably see us moving crates or sitting around discussing the next week’s schedule. We’re just regular folks trying to make the dairy business work in this little corner of the world.
