Khangi Maa Agri Private Limited

Khangi Maa Agri Private Limited operates out of Village Dabariya in the Nautan block, which is near Bettiah in West Champaran. We use Balashanker Singh’s place as our main point of contact. West Champaran is a place with a lot of greenery and a lot of history with farming. Our company is a private one, but it is really just a small family and neighbor-run business. We focus on the things that matter to people living in Dabariya, like getting supplies for the fields and making sure the crops are sold properly. We spend a lot of time on our motorbikes going between the village and the market in Bettiah. It is a lot of physical work and the office is usually filled with the smell of grain and dust. We do not use any big corporate language because we are just regular people. If someone needs help with their soil or wants to know about new seeds, they just walk into the village and find us. We are not trying to be the biggest company in Bihar. We just want to make sure that the farming in our little corner of Nautan stays viable. The work is repetitive and sometimes the profits are low, but it is what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks as they come, year after year, through the heat and the monsoons.
