Our operation is located at house number 218, belonging to Sanjay Sah in Jalwansi. This is in the Itarhi block of Buxar. We are the Jalwansiharpur Farmers Producer Company Limited. To be honest, we are just a bunch of neighbors who decided to join forces. Farming by yourself is hard, especially when the costs of everything keep going up. We meet up at the house or out in the fields to figure out how to get our crops sold for a fair price. It’s not always easy. Sometimes the weather doesn't cooperate or the transport is late. We deal with it. We don’t have a lot of big talk or corporate stuff here. We just know the soil in this part of Buxar and what it needs. A lot of our time is spent checking on the crops and making sure the irrigation is working like it should. We started this company to help the local farmers get a bit more ahead. It’s a lot of meetings and talking, and sometimes we don't agree on everything, but we work it out. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just a useful one for the people living in Panchharpur. If you come by, you'll probably see us with dirt on our hands because that’s the reality of the work we do every single day. We are just trying to build something that lasts for our kids, nothing more fancy than that.
