Institute For Developmental Education Action An Ngo

We are an NGO based in Patna. Our office is on Plot 09 in Ram Nagari, specifically in Sector 02 of Ashiana Nagar. We focus on education and helping people in the local community. It’s not a huge operation. We have a few rooms where we keep our supplies and do our paperwork. Most of our work happens out in the neighborhoods, but this is where we plan everything. The office is in a residential-feeling area, so it’s pretty calm most of the time. We’ve got some old wooden tables and chairs that have been with us since we started. People from the area know where to find us if they need help with schooling or learning new skills. We don't have a big budget, so we have to be careful with how we spend money. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains really hard in Bihar, but we just move the desks. It’s a small group of us working here. We all do a bit of everything, from cleaning to teaching to answering the door. We don't have any fancy titles. We just want to see the kids around here get a better chance at education. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes it feels like we aren't moving fast enough. But we keep at it every day because we live here too. This is just our way of helping out. We are glad to be part of the Ashiana Nagar neighborhood.
