We are located in Kotwa Bazar in East Champaran, specifically in Motihati, Bihar. This is a typical local market area where everyone knows everyone else. Our shop is right in the middle of all the daily bustle. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long, from the vegetable sellers to the rickshaws. We’ve got a small space here with just the essentials. It gets quite crowded on market days, and the shop feels even smaller then. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just a counter, some posters on the wall, and our ledgers. We handle the Airtel services for the people around here. It’s mostly just local folks coming in for their needs. The summers get really hot in Bihar, so we have the fans running full speed. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when it’s slow. Life moves at its own pace here. We don’t do anything special, just show up and do the work. The floor needs a sweep pretty often because of the dust from the street. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t need a map to find our way around. It’s a very basic setup, nothing corporate about it. Just a regular bunch of people working in a regular shop in the bazar. We usually close up when the sun goes down and the market starts to thin out. It is a simple life for us here in East Champaran.
