We are located over at Shanti Mohan Kunj, which is on Pree Prees Lane right off Rajendra Path in Patna. If you know Patna at all, you know that Rajendra Path is always moving with cars and people. Pree Prees Lane is a bit smaller and much quieter, which is nice for us when we are trying to concentrate. The building itself, Shanti Mohan Kunj, has been there for a while and has that solid, older feel to it that you don't see much anymore. Our office is just one of the rooms inside the complex. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar and some wooden shelves for our supplies. The floors are made of stone and they stay relatively cool even when it’s incredibly hot outside. We spend our days mostly answering the phone or dealing with the people who walk in from the street. It’s a very local way of doing things. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated processes that nobody understands. We just see what needs to be done and we do it. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour and we just sit and talk until it comes back on. It’s just part of the charm of working in this part of town. The neighbors in the building are mostly other small businesses or families, so it feels very grounded and real.
