This office is over in Mahendru, working under the name of Bajaj Alliance Life Insurance Company. We are based out of the place associated with B K Singh, who is an ASI. It is a simple setup here in this part of town. Mahendru has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. Most of our time goes into checking policy details and talking to people who come in with their doubts. It is not a corporate high-rise or anything like that. It is just a regular room where we keep our registers and the computer. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just wait it out or talk to the neighbors. B K Singh is a known name around here, so people find us easily enough. We don't have any big signs or flashing lights. It is just a practical place to get work done. We see a lot of different people every day, some looking for new plans and some just checking their old ones. The desks are a bit cluttered with papers, but we know where everything is. It feels like a real part of the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just provide a place in Mahendru for life insurance matters. The atmosphere is quite relaxed most of the time, though it gets busy during the month-end. We just keep at it and help whoever walks in.
