If you head over to Court Road in Nawada, you will find our Hdfc office right by Shiv Medical Stores in the Mahavir Market. It is a very busy spot, especially on days when the court is in session. There are people everywhere, and the noise from the market is constant. We are located right in the middle of all that trade and talk. The Shiv Medical Store is a good landmark because everyone knows where it is. Our space is not very large, but we make it work. It is often a bit dusty because of the road construction nearby, so we are always wiping down our desks. In Bihar, the seasons really change the mood of the market, from the rainy days when everything is muddy to the dry, hot months. We don't have a corporate cafeteria; we just get something from the vendors outside. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few corners. The light from the street lamps flickers a bit in the evening when we are closing up. We know the other shopkeepers in Mahavir Market, and we all look out for each other.
