Our office is situated on Chakrata Road in Dehradun, right at number 68. If you know the area, you know it can get pretty crowded with traffic during the peak hours, but we like being in the middle of things. We have been operating out of this building for a bit now. It is basically where all the local news and media stuff happens for our team. We have writers, some editors, and people handling the business side of things all crammed into one space. It is not always quiet, especially when there is a big story breaking or a deadline is coming up fast. You can hear the hum of computers and people talking across desks all day long. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that, just our name on the door. People stop by sometimes to drop off notices or just to ask questions about something they saw in the paper. We try to keep the place somewhat tidy, but papers tend to pile up on the desks pretty quickly. It feels like a real workspace, not one of those sterile offices you see in movies. We just focus on getting the daily work done and making sure everything is ready for the next day. It’s a simple setup but it serves us well enough for what we need to do here in Dehradun.
