Our place is located in Defence Colony, which is part of Lohia Nagar in Kankarbagh, Patna. It’s house number 142 and we are with Nishant Nandan. Being in Patna is a bit different from being out in the rural blocks. It’s much more crowded and there’s always noise from the traffic. G.Y.O.M Rihityam Agro (Opc) Private Limited handles the agro side of things from here, even though we aren't standing in a field right now. This is more of the coordination spot. We have to deal with a lot of people coming in from the outskirts to discuss business. The office is just a couple of rooms in the colony. It’s a quiet residential area compared to the main Kankarbagh road, but it still gets busy. We spend our time on the computer or the phone, trying to bridge the gap between the farms and the city buyers. It’s a lot of logistics. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power cuts out, and we just have to wait it out. We aren't some polished corporate office. There’s usually some dust on the shelves and stacks of paper everywhere. We started this because there’s a need for a more organized way to get food into the city. It’s just us trying to make the system work a bit better. We aren't into big slogans or fancy talk. We just want the business to run smooth from this little corner of Patna.
