Gandak Foods And Beverage Private is basically just us working out of the space at Jamil Ahmad's place in New Agarwa. It is not a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. We spend most of our time dealing with different food products and drinks. The morning usually starts with us checking what came in the day before and seeing what needs to go out. It gets pretty hot in the summer here, so we try to get the heavy lifting done before the sun gets too high. Jamil is around most days to make sure things are moving. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we try to keep the noise down when we are loading stuff. Sometimes we have to wait for deliveries that are stuck in traffic, which can be frustrating, but that is just how it goes. We don't have a big website or a lot of advertisements. Most people who know us just found out by word of mouth or by seeing the sign. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the inventory is right. It is a simple life and we are okay with that. The floor is concrete and we have some old desks in the corner for the paperwork. It is a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We don’t have big meetings or long speeches. We just get to work and do what is needed for the day.
