You can find Ekamdivya Producer Company Limited in Bhodsa village, which is part of the Ekma block in Chapra. Vijay Pandey is our main guy there, at House Number 124. We are a small company that grew out of the needs of the local people in the Saran district. Most of us here have spent our whole lives around farms, so starting this felt like the natural thing to do. We aren't trying to be some big national brand. We just want to handle our local produce better. The office is really just a room in the village where we keep our files and meet up. It’s a bit dusty and the fan doesn’t always work, but it’s where the business happens. We spend a lot of time talking to growers about what they’re planting and how we can help them sell it. Life in Bihar moves at its own pace, and we try to keep up with it. Sometimes the logistics are a nightmare because of the roads, but we manage. We don't have a fancy mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the work gets done and the farmers get paid. It’s a simple, honest way to run a business. Vijay handles most of the day-to-day headaches. We are just a local group doing our best with what we have.
