If you come down to Samastipur, you can find us in Ward Number 07 of Warsinagar. The village is called Dhanhar. We are the Dhanhar Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is a basic setup in a rural area. The pin code is 848133. We have been working from this spot for some time now. It’s not a polished business office. Usually, there is some mud on the floor from people coming in from the fields. We don’t mind it much. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but that’s not a priority right now. We focus on the grain and the local farmers who bring it in. Samastipur gets very humid, so we try to keep the windows open for a breeze. We have a couple of wooden tables and some old chairs. It is a place where neighbors meet to discuss the harvest. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just do the work that needs doing every day. Some days we are very busy with the sacks of produce, and other days we just wait for the trucks to arrive. It is a very honest kind of life. We are just a group of people from Dhanhar trying to stay organized. It is a simple life and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is.
