Bokhra Farm Farmer Producer Company Limited is situated in the village of Bajidpur Gorhaul. Specifically, we are in the tola called Gorhaul Sharif. You can find us at Rezaullah’s place. We are a collective of farmers from this local area. It is a very rural setting, surrounded by the fields we work in. We don't have a fancy office building or a suite of rooms. We just use a part of the house to manage the company business. Most of our meetings happen outdoors or on the veranda. We talk about the wheat, the rice, and whatever else we are growing. The goal is just to help the local farmers get their crops to market without losing out. We do all the coordination ourselves. There are no city people running this. It is all people from the village who know what the soil feels like. Sometimes the electricity is gone for hours, so we just work by the daylight. We don't have a marketing budget or a sales team. We just rely on the quality of what we grow and the relationships we have with the buyers. It’s a simple life, but it’s ours. We keep our records in big handwritten books and try to make sure everything adds up at the end of the month. It's practical work for practical people who know how hard it is to make a living from farming.
