Bihtavedic Farmer Producer Company Limited is based in the village of Painal. We are located at House No 212, which belongs to Sri Pawan Kumar. This is in the Tola Painal area, within the Bihta block of Patna. Our pin code is 800111. We are a group of farmers who decided to join together to help each other with our work and our sales. It's not a big corporate thing, just a bunch of us from the local village and panchayat. We meet up frequently to talk about our crops and how we can get a better price for them. Most of our meetings happen right there at the house in Painal or out in the fields. We don't have any polished business books or a set list of goals. We are just focused on the reality of farming in Bihar. It's a lot of manual labor and worrying about the weather. We try to share the costs of things like seeds and equipment to make it easier on everyone. If you come to our village, you will see us working just like any other farmer. The company is just a way for us to have a bit more security in our lives. We don't use fancy language because we are just plain people. We have been working this land for generations and the producer company is the next step for us. It’s hard work, but we are doing it together as a community.
