Our office is located at Shanti Nilay on Road Number 1 in Rajendranagar. It’s a well-known part of Patna, so we aren't too hard to find if you're in the area. We’ve been using this building for our government work for quite some time. It’s a traditional kind of house converted into an office space. We don't have those shiny modern interiors you see in the new parts of town. Instead, we have high ceilings and lots of wooden desks piled with folders. The street outside can get pretty noisy during the rush hour, but inside we just focus on the tasks at hand. We deal with various administrative things for the state. People walk in and out all day with different requests. We try to keep things organized, though with the amount of paper we handle, it’s a constant battle. Shanti Nilay has a bit of history to it, and we like being based in Rajendranagar. It feels like a real part of the city. We aren't here to impress anyone with decor; we just need a roof over our heads and a place to file our reports. The staff here is mostly locals who know the city well. We spend our days making sure the government business we're responsible for actually gets done. It’s a steady rhythm of work, day in and day out, right here on Road No 1.
