If you head down Piro Road toward Jagdishpur, you’ll find us at Ram Ji Singh’s place in Nayaka Tola. This whole thing started because we wanted to do something more with the goats we raise here. Bhojpuri Goat Producer Company Limited is basically just us neighbors trying to find a better way to handle the livestock. It gets pretty noisy around here with all the animals, but that is the way we like it. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity from the city. We are just local people who know a lot about goats and not much about sitting in fancy chairs. Most of our meetings happen right there in the yard or near the sheds. We spend a lot of time talking about feed and making sure the animals are staying healthy when the weather changes. Jagdishpur is a good place for this kind of work, and having Ram Ji Singh’s spot as a base makes it easier for everyone to drop by. We don’t have a marketing department or anything. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone while trying to herd a goat at the same time. It’s hard work and the days are long, especially in the summer heat. We just want to make sure our families can keep farming and that the goats are taken care of properly. We are just doing our best with what we have.
