Banarpur Chausa Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group is centered at Dharmendra Kumar Pandey’s place, house number 2018, in Banarpur village. Chausa is our block and we’re right here in Buxar. Banarpur Chausa Farmer Producer Company Limited is the name we use on the documents. It’s not a very long walk from the main part of the village. Most of us have been farming these lands for years, just like our fathers did. We realized that if we pooled our resources, maybe we could buy things like seeds or tools a bit cheaper. It’s just practical. We spend a lot of time under the shade of the trees talking about the rain or the latest news from the market. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s just us. Sometimes the bookkeeping gets a bit messy, but we are learning as we go. We want to make sure the farmers in our little corner of Buxar don’t get left behind. It’s tough work, being out in the sun all day, but it’s what we know. If you ever find yourself near Tola Banarpur, you can probably see us working in the fields or sitting near house 2018. We’re just regular folks trying to make the farm produce more and waste less. It’s a simple goal, but it takes a lot of effort from everyone in the group. We don't always get it right the first time, but we keep trying. That's the only way to get anywhere in this business.
