Baba Lotan Das Farmers Producer Companylimited

We started Baba Lotan Das Farmers Producer Companylimited because the local farmers in Laudh needed a way to get their stuff to market without so much trouble. We are right here in Supaul, specifically in the Laudh village and post office area. Most of us grew up here and have been working these fields since we were kids. It’s not a big fancy office or anything like that, just a place where we can sit down and talk about the crops and how the weather is affecting the harvest this year. Sometimes the rain doesn't come when we need it, and other times it comes all at once. That's just how it goes around here. We have a lot of different people involved now. Some of the younger guys are helping with the paperwork while the older ones stay out in the dirt. It feels like a lot of work sometimes, especially when the machinery breaks down or the prices at the market drop suddenly. But we keep at it because that's what we know. If you come by the Ps -Supaul area, you’ll find us easily enough. We usually have some tea going and someone is always talking about the latest seed prices or who has the best tractor parts. It’s a simple life, mostly focused on the land and the season. We don't really have a big staff, just a few of us trying to make things work for the whole group. It’s okay, we get by.
