Aliance Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our group, Aliance Farmer Producer Company Limited, is located in the Eraura village within the Deo block. We are based out of the area where Awadhesh Singh and Dev Narayan Singh live. It is a fairly typical rural spot where the main sound you hear is the tractors and the birds. We aren't a big company with a lot of money; we are a collective of local farmers who want to see our community do okay. Farming in this part of Deo requires a lot of patience and a strong back. We spend our time managing the land and trying to get the best out of the soil we have. There are no fancy offices here, just the open fields and the places where we store our grain and tools. We talk about things like weather patterns, the cost of diesel, and which crops are doing well this year. It is a very practical kind of existence. We started this company because we realized that if we bought our supplies together and sold our produce as a group, we might actually save some money. Most days you will find us out in the Eraura Tola, checking on the plants or fixing a fence. It is a lot of trial and error, but we learn as we go. We are just simple people working the land and trying to keep our families fed and the business moving along one season at a time.
