We are located in South Village in Darbhanga. Gyatri Devi Radhi is the person in charge of things here. Ahalyasthan Farmer Producer Company Limited was started because we needed a way for farmers in our part of Bihar to work together. It’s not a complicated setup. We spend most of our time out in the fields or sitting in the small office area we have. Farming in Darbhanga has its own set of problems, like the floods we sometimes get, so we try to look out for each other. There isn't any big corporate headquarters here, just a group of local people trying to make a living from the land. We handle things like seeds and tools and try to get a better deal for what we grow. Some days it feels like we are just fighting with the paperwork, which none of us really likes. We'd rather be outside. It’s a lot of talking to neighbors and trying to figure out the best crops for the next season. The village life is quiet, and our company reflects that. We don't have a website or a marketing team. If you want to talk to us, you just come down to South Village and ask for us. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from sunrise to sunset. Sometimes things go wrong, and we just have to figure it out together. That's just how it is.
