Sristhi Ladies Beauty Parlour & Mahila Silai Centre

Sristhi Ladies Beauty Parlour & Mahila Silai Centre is a bit different because we do two things in one place. We are located on the Gaya Railway Line Road in Patna City. On one side of the room, we have the beauty parlour chairs and mirrors for threading and hair work. On the other side, we have the sewing machines where we do tailoring for ladies' clothes. It gets quite noisy with the sound of the machines and the trains passing by on the tracks nearby. We are always busy with something, whether it’s stitching a blouse or doing someone’s eyebrows. There are scraps of fabric and thread all over the floor on the tailoring side, while the other side has hair and cotton bits. The neighborhood ladies come here to get their suits stitched and often end up getting a facial while they wait. It’s a very social place where there is a lot of talking and laughing. We don't have a lot of space, so things are stacked up on shelves and in the corners. The light isn't the best, so we use some extra tube lights to see the stitching clearly. It’s a busy, cramped, but happy shop where we work long hours to get all the orders finished on time for our local customers.
