Golden Hair Cutting Saloon

This shop is on the Main Road in Hajiganj, right in the heart of Patna City. It is a very old and busy part of town. The traffic outside is constant and the horns never seem to stop. Inside the shop, it is a little bit quieter but not by much. We have these big old chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. I spend most of my day standing on my feet working on different people. We do haircuts and shaves for all the men who live around here. Everyone knows each other in Patna City, so there is always a lot of chatting and joking around. We do not use any high-tech gadgets, just good old scissors and manual razors. The mirrors are a little foggy at the edges and have some spots. We keep a small radio on for some background music to pass the time. It is a very simple setup. We have been here at this same spot for many years. The floor gets swept every hour but the hair just keeps piling up during a busy shift. Sometimes we have to wait for the electricity to come back on before we can use the electric clippers. That is just how things are here. People do not mind waiting a bit on the wooden bench outside.
