Gitanjali Beauty Parlour

Our shop is Gitanjali Beauty Parlour and we are in the Maa Vidya Market on Kanti Factory Road. Kankarbagh is a crowded area in Patna, and our market is always full of people buying things. We are quite close to the PNB Bank, which is a good landmark for anyone trying to find us. The shop is tucked away a bit, but once you get inside, it’s a familiar place for the local women. We have a few stations for hair and skin work. The shelves are filled with various bottles and boxes of products we use daily. It’s often dusty outside on Kanti Factory Road, so we keep the door shut mostly. You can hear the sounds of the market and the bank customers through the walls. We do things like hair cutting and basic facials. The mirrors are large and we try to keep them clean. It’s a busy life here in Patna. People are always in a hurry, but they take a little time to sit down in our chairs. We don't have any corporate training or fancy brochures. We just know how to do our jobs from years of doing it. The tea boy from the corner comes by twice a day with hot chai. It’s just a neighborhood spot where everyone knows each other. If you are near Maa Vidya Market, you’ll probably see our board near the entrance.
