Hsmk Infotech & Computers is based in House No. 204/13, right in Ajit Nagar over in Samana. Being out here in Patiala gives us a different pace than the bigger cities. We deal with computers and all the info-tech stuff that goes along with them. It started out as just a small idea and eventually became this little company. We work from a house because it’s where we feel most comfortable. There’s no big glass building or corporate lobby here. When you come to see us, you’re basically coming to a neighborhood spot. We handle things like fixing software problems, setting up systems, and general computer work. We aren't interested in using fancy business jargon or making big promises. We just look at the problem and try to find a way to fix it using what we know. The team is small, mostly locals from around Samana. We’ve known each other for a long time, so the atmosphere is pretty casual. Sometimes we’re working late into the evening when a project gets complicated, but that’s just the nature of computer work. We don't have a big sign outside or a bunch of advertisements. People just know where we are. It’s an honest way to run a tech business without all the unnecessary polish you see in the big cities. We just like what we do.
