Harinder Singh

I work out of Plot No-214/215 in Prem Nagar. It’s located right behind Thapar Engineering College, which means there are always students walking around and a bit of energy in the air. My setup is pretty basic. I don’t have a big corporate office or a staff of dozens. It’s mostly just me and a couple of helpers handling the daily tasks that come our way. Because we are so close to the college, we see a lot of foot traffic, but our work is usually focused on the clients who have been coming to us for years. The building is older, and I’ve had to do a lot of the repairs myself over time. Sometimes the roof leaks a little when it rains really hard, or the gate gets stuck, but we manage. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or sitting at my desk trying to keep the paperwork from taking over the whole room. I’m not really into using big words or trying to sound more important than I am. I just do the work that needs doing and try to be fair with everyone who walks through the door. Some days are long, starting early and ending well after the streetlights come on. It’s just the way it goes when you’re running your own thing. Prem Nagar is a good spot for us, and we’ve become a part of the neighborhood over the years.
