Krishan

Krishan is our little shop located at Shop No-6 on Mall Road in Patiala. We are very close to the bus stand, which means we see all sorts of people every single day. Some are just passing through town and need something quickly, while others are locals we have known for years. Being on Mall Road is great because there is always something happening outside the door. Our shop isn't very big, but we pack a lot into the space we have. We keep the shelves stocked and try to make sure everything is easy to find. It’s just a simple retail life, opening up in the morning and seeing who walks in. Patiala is a nice place to work, though it gets quite dusty with all the buses moving nearby. We don't have a flashy sign or anything, just the name Krishan above the door. Most days involve a lot of standing and talking to customers about what they need. We’ve had the shop here for a bit, and we’ve seen shops next to us come and go. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the floor is swept and the items are priced right. It’s not a complicated business, just a local shop trying to stay busy and serve the neighborhood as best as we can without making a big deal out of it.
