Our office is right there in Bathindia Mohalla, 98-D, which is pretty close to the Hanuman Mandir in Nabha. If you know the area, it is easy to find. We are a small group at Brilliantfour Software. Most of us grew up around here in Patiala, so we like being based in a spot that feels familiar. The office isn't anything special to look at. It is just a room with some sturdy tables and our computers. Since we are near the temple, we hear the bells sometimes, which is a nice break from the sound of typing. We mostly work on software, but it isn't always smooth sailing. There are days when the software just won't cooperate and we have to sit there for hours trying to find the mistake. We don't have a cafeteria, so we usually just go out for a snack or bring something from home. It’s a practical setup. We handle the coding and the testing without much fuss. No one wears a suit here. It’s just jeans and t-shirts. We started this because we liked computers and figured we could make a go of it as a business. It has its ups and downs like any other small shop. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. We just rely on the work we do and the people we know in the neighborhood. It works for us and keeps us busy.
