Arjan Fruit Ice Cream & Refreshment is located at Shop No 2, right at Qila Chowk. If you know the Shiv Mandir nearby, then you know exactly where we are. It’s a lively spot to be in, especially when there’s a crowd at the temple. We have been running things from this small shop for a bit. The main thing we deal with is ice cream, particularly the fruit kind, and various refreshments. When the weather gets really hot, this part of the chowk gets quite busy with people looking for something cold to eat. The shop is small, so things can get a bit cramped when several people come in at once. We spend a lot of time checking the freezers and making sure the fruit is chopped up. It’s not a quiet job. There is always the hum of the cooling units in the background. Sometimes the map shows us a bit differently, but we are right there near the mandir. You can hear the bells from the temple while we work. We don't really do much advertising. People just see the sign for Arjan Fruit Ice Cream & Refreshment and walk in. We keep a few stools out, but most people just stand around the chowk. It’s a simple life here, just serving up cold treats and keeping the refreshments stocked for whoever wanders by Qila Chowk after their prayers or a long day of work.
