Goldstone Trading Co.

Goldstone Trading Co. is located on Street No. 2 in Hira Bagh. We are right on Rajpura Road and very close to the Gurudwara Sahib. You can hear the prayers in the morning when we are opening up the shop. The building is a bit tucked away, so you have to look for the sign. We deal with all sorts of trading goods, so the place is usually full of ledgers and samples. It is not a shiny showroom. We have old wooden desks and some chairs that have seen better days. The traffic on Rajpura Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, so we usually try to get our loading done early. We spend our time talking to suppliers and checking the items that come in. We don't have any fancy brochures or a marketing guy. It is just us and our books. We have been in Hira Bagh for quite some time now, so we know the other traders on the street. Sometimes we sit outside and talk about the market prices while we wait for the trucks to arrive. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We don't try to be something we aren't. We just trade fairly and keep our records straight. The air is always a bit dusty from the road, but having the Gurudwara nearby makes the atmosphere feel peaceful despite all the work we have to get through.
