Umatiya Agro Products Private Limited

Umatiya Agro Products Private Limited is based out of Plot No 236 in the GIDC Estate. That’s in the village of Siddhpur, which is part of the Siddhpur Taluka in Patan. Since we are in an industrial estate, it’s a bit more of a busy, noisy environment than a farm. There are trucks coming and going all day long. Our building is a simple structure that holds all our equipment and the products we handle. We’ve been in Patan for a bit now and we know the area well. It gets very hot in this part of the country, so we try to get most of the heavy work done early in the morning. Our team is made up of local people who know their way around agricultural products. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of that. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the warehouse floor checking the inventory. It’s a lot of physical work and keeping track of numbers. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves. We don't have a huge budget for marketing, so we just focus on doing the job right. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just want to keep the products moving and make sure everything we send out is in good shape. The dust from the estate can get everywhere, so we are always cleaning up after a shift.
