Mohindra Textile Engg. Corpn.

We have been running Mohindra Textile Engg. Corpn. for quite a while now from our spot at Plot No. 11 on Jatal Road. It’s not a very big place, just a regular workshop where we spend most of our daylight hours. The road outside can get pretty noisy with all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. Inside, it’s mostly the sound of machines and people talking over them. We do textile engineering work, which basically means we spend our time fixing parts and making sure the equipment is doing what it’s supposed to. It’s a lot of grease and heavy lifting. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning or anything like that. We just have our tools and our workspace. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just know the routine. Sometimes we have a quick tea break near the entrance of Plot 11 and watch the people go by on Jatal Road. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation with a lot of rules. We just take the work as it comes and try to do a decent job of it. If you ever walk by, you’ll see the sign and probably hear us working away inside. That's just how we operate.
