Mahindra Machine Works

We've been over here at 546-L-Model Town for quite a while now. It's a busy spot. Most days you'll find us covered in oil or metal shavings because there is always something that needs fixing or making. We started out small, just a couple of machines and a lot of grease. The shop floor gets really loud, especially when all the lathes are going at once and the cooling fans are humming, but that's just how it is. People around here know where we are. We don't really do much fancy talk or have a glossy brochure. If a part needs turning or a machine isn't running right, we just get to it. Sometimes the power goes out or a tool breaks right in the middle of a job, which slows things down, but we manage to get things back on track. It’s a dirty job sometimes. My hands are usually stained dark by the end of the shift. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, with new shops opening and closing, but Mahindra Machine Works stays pretty much the same. We just keep the doors open and do the work that comes in. It’s not a big corporate office with carpets and air conditioning. It’s just a workshop with concrete floors and a lot of heavy iron everywhere. We try to be fair and just do what we say we’re going to do. Nothing more to it than that really. Just a local shop trying to stay busy and pay the bills.
