Maharaja Shree Chhatrasal Madhyamik Shala

Down here in Dahod, things move at their own pace. This school has been a part of the local landscape for a while now. If you walk through the doors, you’ll hear the sound of kids chatting and teachers trying to get through the day’s lessons. It’s a middle school, so the students are at that age where they are starting to grow up but still have a lot of energy. The building itself is quite simple and has seen plenty of students come and go over the years. We don’t have those massive air-conditioned halls you see in city schools, but the classrooms do the job. In the mornings, you can see the students walking in from different parts of town, some carrying heavy bags and others just running to get there before the bell rings. The staff here are mostly locals who have lived in the area for a long time. We know the families and the shops around the corner. Sometimes the playground gets a bit dusty when the wind picks up, but the kids don't seem to mind much when they're playing. It’s just a place for learning the basics and getting through those middle school years. We keep things pretty straightforward here without a lot of extra fuss. It’s just about getting the kids into the classrooms and making sure they have their books and pens ready for whatever subject is next on the schedule.
